The AMP Health Director will oversee and scale rapidly growing field operations and brand-building across Africa while maintaining deep in-country partnerships and impact. The Director will also be responsible for strategy, planning, and innovation as well as thought leadership and country operations. In addition, the Director will build successful and respectful partnerships and oversee the financial accounting and reporting function of AMP Health. Successful candidates will have experience working closely with Ministries of Health in Africa and have demonstrated expertise in designing and managing processes, and budgets, and navigating complex organizational structures. They will ideally demonstrate a track record of impact in creating large-scale change.
The Partnerships & Communications Manager will develop and implement a fundraising and communications strategy to contribute to the success and sustainability of AMP Health, an innovative cross-sector partnership which aims to increase access to life-saving health services for the world’s hardest to reach by enabling stronger leadership and management of community health worker systems by ministries of health in Sub-Saharan Africa. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of demonstrably elevating brand equity, building a coalition of engaged stakeholders, and contributing to resource mobilization. They will ideally demonstrate a commitment to global public health impact and excitement for helping to build an emerging high-profile program.
Based in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Regional Head will oversee the design, scoping, implementation, and evaluation of AMP Health’s in-country work (including oversight of AMP Health Management Partners), represent AMP Health to ministries of health and partners in-region, and identify potential new country partnerships. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of effectively working with senior public sector leaders, managing successful teams, being accomplished problem solvers and communicators who can bring vision and credibility to this work. They will ideally have a combination of private sector and global health experience, demonstrate a commitment to global health impact and excitement for helping to build an emerging high-profile program. We expect candidates with global health experience to have worked at the country-director level.
